He can swim!

This afternoon we went swimming, a favourite activity of ours on Fridays. And while we were there Elijah just started to swim! Under water a foot or so to me. The cool thing is he's never had a lesson. He's gone swimming tonnes though with Jason since he was probably 18 months. Jason allowed/allows Elijah to take quite the risks in the water and probably as a result has become quite the confident little fish (or he said he was a dolphin)... we are sooo proud of him for this accomplishment, already! So cool. Tomorrow we will be looking for a pair of goggles for him, like Jade and Sara have (all the International Kids seem to wear these). He keeps his eyes open in the water, so he might as well have some goggles to wear. His request is for yellow ones, his fav colour. Don't think we'll find them.

(on another note about swimming, Samuel is following closely behind... jumping off the side into the water already, doing the kiddie slide all by himself...he's quite confident already!)
