Mercy loves the feel of the sand in her fingers and also loves to sit on her Momma's lap, showing off all she knows. "what does a duck say, Mercy?"









Once we got inside to put some PJ's on, Mercy played Teacher and showed my boys what each animal says in her book.

Another Busy Weekend

On Saturday we went to the Vancouver Aquarium with the Carpenter's! It was a HOT day, so a perfect day in the City. Brock and Elijah had so much fun together running from one fish tank to the next and watching the Beluga and Dolphin Shows.

After we were finished at the Aquarium, we stopped dropped in to Metrotown for some dinner in the food court and a peek in Old Navy. Found some deals, which was nice! Today, Sunday, we 'skipped' church and took the boys to Aldergrove Lake (or Puddle as some call it). It is an ideal little "lake" for the kids. Samuel had his first dip in the water and Elijah enjoyed it as usual.

Welcome Marayah and Jessie!

Yesterday, June 10, I received a phone call at 8:00am from Sherry saying she had her baby!! We were able to go meet Marayah Leigh this afternoon. Proud parents are our good friends from church, Devin and Sherry. Congrats guys! Here is sweetheart Marayah: Before we went to church this morning I received a phone call from Jen who had her baby during the night. Babies, babies, babies! Congrats to Aaron and Jen... as their third baby girl was added to their family today. Jessie Olivia! I will add in a photo when they email some to us! The one we took is of Jen and Jessie. And although Jen looks so good, I really should have her permission to post it!
We look forward to watching both of you grow!

Picnic at the Park

After we went to the parade and a bit of browsing at Bellis Fair, we rushed over to our park date with some other friends.

Weekend Fun

On Saturday we decided to go down to Bellingham last minute. There was a parade in Lynden going on that morning, so we took part in that! It was a great parade actually. Lots and lots of tractors, horses... all for the purpose of "Farmers Day". Elijah just loved it and Samuel loved listening to the marching bands and just simply being outdoors.Lynden is "small Holland" and so this float represents a wooden shoe.Sammie and MommaDaddy's hat!This was one of the floats. We saw it on our way out and so Elijah asked if he could ride it! The little boys were generous to let him have a seat for a minute.
