PCM
The Kids and I met Jason up at WPark so we could spend some time at the Children's Museum; we each got $1off our entrance fee if we had a ticket for the Max and since it was along our route and kids are free for it, I took the kids on it for a little adventure!
We went here 4 years ago when Elijah was not even 3 years old yet and Sam was just a baby! We thought it was time to go back for a visit before Elijah gets too old to have fun! We had a great time... in the water-play area
(including Jason who is playing with the pieces of this water table like a puzzle)

and in the rubber pit:
and self-face painting!
and Elijah was old enough to participate in the "Build It" area where he used a hot glue gun for the first time...and used all sorts of recycled materials to create:
then Jason and the kids re-built a cabin using these "homemade" lincoln logs (long cardboard tubes painted brown and cut to fit together)
Sam is such a hard worker and loves his wheelbarrows; we'd love to find him one small like this for our house to help with yard clippings as he usually does
and finally since we spent so much time building, we had 15minutes left in the "grocery" area which is too bad because that was totally not enough time to buy groceries, fix up food in the restaurant and serve Daddy his plastic sandwiches
Very fun!
life jackets
Man, our lives have sure been made easier as we have left the baby stages (ie. playpens, swings, high chairs, diapers, nursing) already awhile ago, but lately we have had several instances where we go "we can just sit back and relax a bit" - like these life jackets are awesome for the boys! They jump in and out of the deep end and swim and play - it's great! We picked up a new one for Elijah today so now Gabi should be able to wear the orange one next time we are in a pool.

drip drip drop
On June 25 Elijah had Fun Day - and thankfully the weather turned out great for it.
All the grades started by trying to break a guiness world record (unless the PE Teacher was just saying that) to have the most people doing the (whatever this dance is called) at the same time:
The first game Elijah's class played was 'drip drip drop' like 'duck duck goose' but with a cup of water - Hailey just got a drip from Elijah:

Elijah's last day of school was Monday June 28th.

year end party
{end of June}
For all the three classes of Elijah's grade, they had a combined year end party at ML. I was a driver and supervisor during the fieldtrip. We first walked around the lake and then stopped at the water park (or splash park for you Saskers) -
then we had a picnic for lunch and games for the kids after that - one of the games was to dress up in all this fishing gear and race to the other side... hard to do with rubber boots up to or past the knees on some of these kids!
it was a great day!
