Caramel Apples

Alexa, Anita and I and Moeko and Mie all got together yesterday morning to make enough meals to feed an army or well, fill our freezers! We made 5 different meals and each got about 3 of each... what a meal-making-frenzy! It was sooo great to have Moeko and Mie with us, thanks girls! They cut veggies, formed meatballs, assembled casseroles... you name it! We really appreciated their extra hands! Here they are:
Then last night we made caramel apples for something fun to do with Moeko, on her last evening with us. They were yummy, sticky and fun to make and eat!

Sure did, Laurie!! We did this just before Samuel was born too... so we used the some of the same recipes as we did then. Alexa does the leg-work on this... like figuring everything out times however many we are making (math stuff). So this year we made a bunch of meatballs to freeze; a couple batches of sweet/sour sauce to freeze, ready to be thrown on some meat; chicken pot pie (had it for dinner last night, yummy!); Parmesan Chicken and Brocolli; and Chicken Enchilada Casserole. Wow-y.
