our hotel is a very short block away from the beach - it's wonderful!
we saw this dog skim boarding! his owner threw the board, the dog got his 2 front paws onto the board and road the waves a bit
then he retrieved the board and brought it back to his owner to begin again - it was really fun to watch!
glad this sand landed where it did and not in her eyes right off the bat
oh brrrrr, well, at first it's cold then it's not so bad... not nearly as cold as it can be
Elijah kept going deeper and deeper - which is also hard to tell when the water is coming in and out - such a fun time!

Looks WAY warmer than when we were there last year. Jodi's parents were there same time as you and they said it was SO cold and the weather was not great at all. Wonder where they were golfing?
Saturday was gorgeous - it was good we had that day mainly left to play!
Sunday and Monday were windy... Tuesday was good again... Wednesday was windy (you'll see)... Jason and I agreed that if it was always so windy when we were there (otherwise it's not so much) we wouldn't return so faithfully

The dog entertainment does sound very neat to watch!!

What is the difference between a boogie board & surf board?
boogie board you don't stand on like Elijah is doing - you lay on it and catch a wave into shore...
a surf board is HUGE and much more to it - you stand on a surf board and go into deeper water.
