well, one of the costumes she brought over was a princess dress. And well, you can see who was excited to get into that dress! Gabi of course. She really wanted it on! It's a size 4+ or something, so it's rather big on her teeny body - but it still looks so adorable.

princess
Auntie Lorraine came over last weekend to bring Elijah a gift for his birthday - well, she knows Elijah loves to dress up in costumes and so she went to MCC and picked up some costumes for our tickle trunk (don't really have one, just an IKEA bin thing) - -

(this last picture I added in there because this is a common look of hers with her hand reaching out like that. Gabi's vocab is very limited so far but she grunts which comes out like this : "uh, uh, uh" until we figure out what she is wanting. Here she wants the camera.)

so cute in that dress! we too have that same hand motion and grunt with Malia... she hasn't taken to sign language very eagerly, so I am hoping she talks early, as the grunting is getting old.
Hi Annette!
I've been meaning to get in touch with you about where we are moving... didn't want to publish that info on my blog!
Gabi is doing sign language - not as regular as I'd like but enough. She does Please, more (sometimes) and all done. I'm starting to work on Thank You. We don't remember the boys doing this grunting thing... it's quite funny but can get old, yes! :)
The picture reminds me of Erin too... totally does the hand thing the same way, but not grunting. The girls went on a bit last night about how Erin said Gabi so clearly when i was holding them. LOL I had to say that Gabi was saying Erin too, but they hadn't heard it and Fran and Amy told them that Gabi didn't say Erin. So hopefully they will set them straight!
gosh she is sooooooooo cute!!!!!
