California Adventure Park ~ Day 2

We started our morning in Disneyland, didn't get very far past the main gates when we noticed either Chip or Dale, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Cruella DeVille, and Donald meeting the crowds! And look at Elijah, he was the one that wanted to go see Chip or Dale (not sure who is who)... here he is with Donald Duck.
It was our plan to go to California Adventure Park today, but it was open a bit later than we were ready to enter, so that's why we went into Disneyland first. Sure glad we did... what a great way to start the day by meeting 3 of the characters! Oh ya, when it was our turn to meet Mickey, for some reason we thought the batteries had just died on our camera and Mickey was ready to leave... he started to push Elijah's stroller (Mickey) and told us to follow, as we were trying to change the batteries. (turned out the person who took the previous photo, the person behind me in the Donald line, must've pushed the display button... so it looked as though the batteries were dead when indeed they weren't) We got the camera ready and got a photo of all 4 of us with Mickey right by the gate he was entering to leave the area! Cool huh?!

Again, it's not posting more photos on this post, but it's also bedtime... so I will continue tomorrow with the remainder of our trip.


As for our time at California Adventure Park today though... between this park and Disneyland, you get high quality entertainment with the shows. We went to an Aladdin and Jasmine Musical (different than the one I talked about on Day 1) at CAP, in a huge theater with seating for 1500 people... 40 minute long production... it was fantastic. You could pay good money to go to something like that. We are so impressed!
We went to the hotel for naptime mid-day today and came back for more ride, the block party for our third time and intentions to head over to the Fantasmic/Fireworks at Disneyland. For some reason, some rain clouds headed in around dinner time and they ended up cancelling the Fantasmic and Firework shows. Shucks! We have learnt from this, that next time we will do these things early in the week, b/c this was our last chance to see these 2 events. Oh well.
