Grandpa and Grandma's

After Samuel's nap, we headed over to Mom and Dad's for the rest of the day. We visited, opened gifts once Paul got home from work at 2:00, had a lovely dinner that included both turkey AND ham, played a new card game of Matt's called "Swap"... it's hilarious (!)...
Samuel got a ride in a wagon even he is too big for! He loved it!Uncle Matt was the one to pull Samuel around in this "red flyer" wagon. Thanks Uncle Matt! Here is Beppe (Bep-a, which is Grandma in Dutch) and Yurika, a Student from Japan fortunate enough to visit Canada during Christmas!

For the first time ever, we left both boys for a sleepover at Grandpa and Grandma's house (they are still there!) for 2 nights. This is the first time I have been able to sleep all night since well over a year ago! (no joke) Thanks for taking the boys, well Elijah does fine, but thanks for agreeing to take Samuel too! We really appreciate the break.
Plus we've already had to take down ALL our decorations. I know, I know, it's not an easy thing to do the day after Christmas, BUT it just so happens that we're on our way South tomorrow, for a week. (We're going to "the Happiest Place on Earth", stay tuned!)

Happy New Year Everyone!
