First Father-Son Camping Trip
On the Long Weekend Jason took Elijah on his first camping trip. They went to Sweltzer Creek near Cultus. Elijah was so excited to go camping! They set up camp, swam in the creek, ate Thimbleberries and explored the area Sunday afternoon. The night however was cut short! About 11:30pm Jason called me from the site and said Elijah had puked all over the sleeping bags, pillows...etc. You get the idea. So they packed up and came home. In the morning Elijah had fond memories of his camping trip, because as far as he is concerned he did the camping thing! That's good! They'll probably try again this summer.

Oh no!! It's too bad the trip got cut short - but good that they were close enough to home to make a quick trip back! I hope Elijah is feeling better, and that they can do it again sometime this summer.
